Early Spring Plants

The Cats Ear blooms about June to September and we found ours blooming at the end of January. It has hairy leaves and a hairy stem and has a bright yellow flower. The stems are very wiry. Our Cats Ears were blooming in the butterfly garden and on the edge of the field.

Cowslips

When we were looking at the plants in our environmental area, we found a cowslip in bloom. This is also very early flowering.
