Woodland

In our environmental area we have a small woodland area where we can watch birds and collect mini-beasts. There is a meeting place in a clearing with a square made from logs to sit on. There is a path through our wood which leads to our meadow and butterfly garden.

When we go hunting for mini-beasts we find many animals which like living in dark, damp habitats - Woodlice, Worms, Snails, Slugs, Frogs and Earwigs.

We also find hedgehogs.
