About Hurst Drive School

Hurst Drive School is in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, a market town 14 miles north from the centre of London. It was opened in September 1953. It is situated on a pleasant site in a residential area. The location is only a five-minute drive from the A10 junction of the M25 (Junction 25) and a ten-minute walk from Theobalds Grove or Waltham Cross Railway Stations.

There are currently eleven classrooms in the school. Following building work we now have a new library, an I.T. suite and a Cookery room.The grounds are extensive and contain a substantial conservation area, with a pond, field and a wooded area.

The school offers many extra-curricular activities including junior choirs,country dancing, environmental club, football, netball, recorders, sailing and computer club.

At the moment we have 280 children in the school.
