Our Butterfly Garden

We have had our butterfly garden for roughly a year. Our environmental club keeps it tidy as shown in the picture above. We had to put a plastic sheet over the top to keep the weeds from growing. A lot of parents and teachers built this garden. We have many plants to attract butterflies to our garden.

Life Cycle Of A Butterfly

The Butterfly selects the leaf to lay her eggs on. She lays her eggs on the leaf. Her eggs hatch into caterpillars. The caterpillars make themselves a cocoon. They hatch out of the cocoon into a beautiful butterfly and the process repeats itself.
